The Fed's opacity is exactly what will eventually drive institutional capital deeper into crypto. Why? Because the Fed's data dependency exposes the hidden transaction cost of centralized coordination. As volatility clusters around every FOMC meeting, institutional portfolios that were content to remain in the equity lane will be forced to look for assets whose supply curve cannot be politically manipulated. Bitcoin's fixed supply becomes a hedging claim against a Fed that keeps changing its mind. That narrative is not new, but the Fed's shift to data dependency makes it testable.
